3 things to consider before deciding to start real estate investing.
#1 - CONTINUED EDUCATION - Although you don't need a license, you do need education. But before you get started with buying endless real estate programs, STOP and determine the area of real estate investing you like to concentrate on... then research the niche education available. So, to save you some time, I recommend joining your local investor association to expose you to other new and seasoned real estate investors. You can learn a wealth of knowledge in determining which area of real estate investing you want to work in. There at the your local REIA meetings, you'll be exposed to many option for investor education. PS: The investors association will allow you to attend for FREE the 1st 1 or 2 times, so make sure to ask. And make sure to let me know how your first meeting goes, ok?
#2 - SYSTEM TOOLS - There are tons of tools in the marketplace for real estate investing. You can piece together all the tools needed to be successful, or you can opt into a proven system created by investors for investors. After deciding to get back into real estate, I knew immediately I needed to identify the right system for my multi-niche real estate business. And I was not interested in the shiny objects that so many companies display when trying to get your business. After extensive research in the marketplace, I choose Marc Imhof's REIWebTools system. I the months to come, I will be sharing my personal experience reviews and how its working for me, during the relaunch of my own real estate business.
